Online Bingo Has The Speed You Need
Posted By Diego | Bingo-News News | October 7, 2010, 06:27 AM |
If online poker or online blackjack isn’t quite your speed, but you still want to enjoy the thrill of Internet gaming, you may want to try online bingo. Online bingo is the same game that you or your family members played at a church or a town hall. However, now you can play it your home computer. Although the rules and basic play are the same, there are a few tweaks in the online bingo version you should know about.
The Auto Daubing Option
Daubing is the bingo term for marking a number on your card. Auto daubing simply means that computer software automatically performs this function for you.
Auto daubing is more than just a convenience. Numbers can get called quite fast in online bingo. If you have multiple cards, you have to search through them fast.
While you’re busy checking that fourth card, another number may have been called. It’s very easy to fall behind and miss out on a bingo. Auto daubing protects you. Highlight this option from the menu and be sure to get credit for your bingos every time.
Game Options
If you play bingo in North America, you probably only know one type of bingo card -- the five by five card with BINGO across the top and a free space in the middle. When you play online bingo, you can choose to that type of bingo, known as 75 ball bingo, or 80 ball bingo, played on virtual four by four “shutter cards.” You can also play 90 ball bingo on three by nine bingo strips, with three rows of five numbers each.
The Chat Option
Make use of the chat option and talk to other players during the game. You should be aware that even if you aren’t chatting, it’s a good idea to check out the chat box for an additional “chat game” offered by the game moderator. Chat games provide new ways to win, outside the standard patterns for the game.
